Who am i?

Hi, I’m Aimée for the French and Amy for the english,

I was born in France to a british mother and a french father, which means I grew up bilingual, speaking both languages on a daily basis. 

Throughout my life, I have been surrounded by English friends, as well as my mother’s English-speaking circle, many of whom live in France. 

I have seen first-hand how challenging everyday situations can become when you don’t fully master the French language.

From dealing with administration, healthcare and banks, to understanding official letters or making phone calls, I have often witnessed — and helped with — the kind of daily difficulties English speakers face in France simply because of the language barrier.

Professionally, I have spent my career working in customer service, retail and reception roles, where helping people, explaining clearly and finding practical solutions was always at the heart of my work.
